Cutch, extracted from Acacia catechu, is a historic dye offering lightfast, warm reddish-brown hues, or brown-gray when combined with iron. It has therapeutic effects on eczema due to its astringent properties, influencing its inclusion in soaps. After previous success, the author experimented with cutch printing, using leaves from the market and their garden. Eucalyptus leaves produced varying color results, suggesting further exploration with this tannin.
